在中文里面，我们常常用到“宣传”这个词，比如“要扩大宣传力度”。几年前（甚至是现在）把“宣传”翻译成propoganda的人大有人在。现在，越来越多的译者已经意识到propoganda是个贬义词。只有美国在说到我国政府的宣传的时候会用propoganda这个词。如果是我们自己说自己的宣传的话，应当用publicity这个词。其实除了promote publicity之外，我们其实也可以视上下文把“宣传”翻译成raise the awareness of the public。广告位招租，广告代号：BbsGGADtop
